If you are interested in R, there is a local R user group you can join.
Auckland R Users Group provides opportunities for local R users to meet each other and exchange knowledge. The group now has over 700 members and meet twice a year for case study and knowledge sharing, also it’s a good opportunity to let the R beginners to meet more experienced users. All skill levels are welcome!
